Welcome to my lifestyle blog  Fabvlae (fah-bew-lah-ee) which in latin means fables or tales. I love the meaning, as the ability to tell stories is a quintessential human trait and what distinguishes us from other animals also it kind of sounds like "fabulous life" and who doesn't want that...
I have a tiny handmade home accessories and gifts business with the same name, derived from my love of simple romantic (with a sprinkle of bohemian flair) decor and lifestyle. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal and live in Berkshire UK with my husband and my two daughters and son.
For some time now I have developed a love for entertaining, well being, interior decor, design, photography, crafts and just style in general.
With this blog I intend to indulge in my interests while sharing with people who, like me, are passionate about living a stylish meaningful life.

I did hesitate quite a bit before starting this blog but a particular quote inspired me to create this corner:
